FAQ's
Why do you shut down your store for 3d printing at certain times?
-Great question!! Sometimes I get a really large influx of orders, and I need to play catch up. I also have monthly cookie cutter subscription boxes, and those can take a lot of time to get printed. I try to only have the store close for a few short days, and that is only if I absolutely have to, but I am a one-woman operation, and it is of the most importance to me that I am not only printing a good quality product, but that I am also not for getting any prints in your order. I always post a notice on the home page of my website letting everyone know of closures. I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.

Can you Ship Cookies?
- I can, but right now I only ship cookies for special flash sales. Because of how delicate and fragile royal icing sugar cookies are, I do not ship those at all.

Shipping FAQ – Jumbo Cookies

How are my cookies packaged?
-Each order is carefully packed with extra care and padding to help ensure your jumbo cookies arrive fresh and intact. I put a lot of effort into making sure your package is secure before it leaves my hands.

How long will jumbo cookies be fresh for?
-All cookies are individually packaged and heat sealed to preserve quality and freshness. They will remain fresh safely for 7 days room temperature, up to 3 months in a regular freezer, and up to 6 months in a deep freezer.

What if my cookies arrive damaged?
-Once your order is shipped, it is out of my control and in the hands of the delivery carrier. While I am not responsible for how packages are handled during transit, I want you to be happy with your order. If all your cookies arrive completely damaged, please contact me right away and provide me with photos so we can work together on a solution.

What if I entered the wrong shipping address?
-Please double check your shipping address before finalizing your order. It is the customer's responsibility to provide the correct address at checkout. Make sure your address you have on your PayPal account is up to date as well. My website system will not override PayPal's. If you contact me within minutes of placing your order than I can manually go in and update address. Once your package has been mailed, I cannot make changes, reroute, or retrieve it. Orders sent to incorrect addresses due to customer error cannot be refunded or replaced.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
-No, all sales are final. I do not offer refunds or exchanges at this time.

How much notice do I need to give to place an order?
I highly recommend reaching out about 3 months before your event or as soon as possible.
If booking for a wedding, I recommend reaching out 6 months to 1 year in advance.
With all that being said please feel free to reach out to me whenever. I try my best to squeeze in last minute orders if I can. 

How long do your cookies stay fresh?
-Cookies stay fresh for up to 1 week at room temperature.
    My cookies also freeze really well. You can freeze cookies in an airtight container for up to 6 Months.
I will send you home with a "Cookie Care Card" that has step by step instructions.

Do you have gluten free, sugar free, and dairy free cookies and sweets?
-Not at this time, but I do offer French Macarons which are gluten free. 

Do you have different cookie flavors?
-I do! I offer different flavors upon requests if available, and at certain times of the year.

Do you make Cakes? 
I do not. But I Do have a Cake Lady I do business with so if you need a referral I will give you her contact info.  I do however make French Macaron Cakes. Message me for more info. 

Why do you have so many pricing categories?
-I'm glad you asked! Being that I am a stay-at-home mom I most certainly understand wanting something special but not wanting to break the bank either. I love giving my clients the choice to be able to pick exactly what they want down to the very last detail but also fits within the budget they may have in mind. If you do have a budget in mind, please feel free to share so I can help work out cookie designs and treats to fit within your budget. 

What is your fulfillment policy?
-Due to the custom nature of the cookie designs and sweet treats, there are no refunds, returns, or exchanges allowed.

-All Payments for orders are due in full at the time of booking to be secured and added to my calendar. The invoice you first receive is not a guarantee of your order. If order goes unpaid past the due date Danielle's Cookie Jar reserves the right to cancel any orders for non-payment. 

-If you have a cookie/treat order where only a deposit was required at the time, there is no refund for canceling, but if canceled within a 2-week time frame I will allow deposit to go towards another future order.

-If you paid for an order but did not pick up there is no refund. I will be happy to work out another day for pick up or freeze your cookies to keep fresh until your available to pick them up.

-If it's my mistake I'll do my best to make it right. 

Do you offer delivery?
-Yes I do! Delivery is free if within 15 miles of Dyer. 

How do I pick up my order?
Orders are picked up at my home. Pick up address will be given on the paid invoice. I will always touch base with you a few days prior to pick up to confirm a time that works. It is much appreciated that you message me when you're on your way so I can gather your order and have it ready to go. You're welcome to pull into my driveway and I'll bring your order out to you or please wait on my porch for me. Even though this is a business, this is my home, and I do have small children, so I politely request that unless I've invited you to step inside, please do not let yourself into my home. I unfortunately have had this happen in the past and don't want it to happen again. 

 

How do you take payments?
I except payments through the following payment services:
